Blind Bay Resort provides currently for individual RV site and cottage ownership through a secure undivided-interest structure in a bare land strata lot. Owners have their interest registered at BC Land Titles, with individual sites legally owned, transferable, and sellable immediately. All sites are being converted to Bare Land Strata Lots this winter. A modest strata fee provides for maintenance and expenses, and is budgeted to include a contingency fund. We’ve established three strata lots, referred to as sections A, B and C. Each section has multiple lots and all sites in section “B” and “C” can accommodate park models. We are also selling 14 luxury cottage lots on our prized waterfront. The park is open year round.
Public and Seasonal Camping
Blind Bay Resort welcomes public tourism in several ways. Our zoning provides for public camping, and we ensure the traveling public can access the resort both through weekly bookings (first-come, first serve) and as drop-ins while en-route.. Sites will accommodate any size of RV or trailer, and most are open year-round. Rates vary during the year, and we encourage off-season reunions and group camping at preferred rates. We have a limited number of seasonal sites in Section “A” available on a first-come, first serve basis; plus the occasional site in Section “B” and "C" if an owner chooses to rent their site. For those who do not RV and wish to be pampered, we offer luxury park cottages and a single family home to rent throughout the year. The perfect escape! Each unit comes fully appointed with everything but the meals, and can sleep up to eight family members. ‘Rough it’ in style, for less than the cost of a hotel room in most resort centres.
Existing resort amenities include: Seasonal pool, rec. room, exercise room, laundry, showers, green areas, three playgrounds, two play fields, and room to stretch the legs! Of course, the most important amenity is our lake, in which we float a magnificent marina with individual moorage for our owners and guests directly in front of our private sandy beach! Our exceptional location gives you access to an array of local attractions and amenities, which include a golf course, restaurants, shopping and new grocery store, with fuel, ice cream, hot meals, movie rentals, postage and liquor.
